Welcome to Blackwater Gangsters - A guild created for family gameplay in the World of Warcraft game universe. Blackwater Gangsters is a family guild located in the Blackwater Raiders realm and composed of Alliance characters. The guild was founded by Faruthes (L65+ Prot Pally) but is now managed by Lant Sillson (ingame: Lantsillson) a L69 Stealth Rogue.
In anticipating of the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion, we have decided to start growing the guild.
Sister Guild
Our Sister Guild, "The Way of the Druid" is lead by Ruana, a L70 Night Elf druid. Many of Ruana's Alts are in BWG. We encourage any Druid character to join the "Way"
Mandate and Introduction
The BWG mandate is to invite gaming parents and their gaming children to the guild with the idea of creating a family oriented group. We adults make every effort to set a positive example for the kids who play with us. Swearing and unsportsman (unladylike) behaviour will be politely discouraged. Sharing, cooperation and assisting lower level alts and beginners to grow will be encouraged.
We do not encourage Twinking, and the guild officers will generally not assist new characters to twink. Our higher level guild leaders will run some lower level characters through dungeons occasionally to obtain gear.
We currently have a guild bank tab and will be adding more in the near future.
Activities
PvP : BWG members (particulary Lant, Faruthes and their Alts but hopefully future members as well) will be participating in Battlegrounds and Arena combat. We hope to form BG and Arena groups to successfully defend the honour of the Alliance!
Questing : BWG members will assist one another frequently in completing quests. We are going to encourage the idea of forming "Gangs" each of which will be headed by one of our officers. Each Gang will be composed of similarly leveled characters and we hope they participate in questing together and form groups who help one another. A mix of adults and kids in these gangs would be excellent.
End Gaming : End Gaming include activities such as Epic Mount quests and very high level activities (after reaching max level). We will be assisting with End Game activities as well as with the standard activities.
